It just makes the noise that it was selected and nothing happens. It doesn’t take me back to the home screen or anything else. Same thing happens when I alternatively do a search for the Spotify app and select “Go To Channel“. When I click on it, the TV makes the click-selection sound, but nothing happens. Current software version is 10.5.0.I have never had an issue with the Spotify app until the last few days. This is driving me crazy, I am hoping someone might be able to help. I have left it for hours just to see if it ever changes, and nothing. I select my user name, press enter and then nothing happens. I am the only user so the options are Add New or my User Name. The app launches then prompts to select a user. I press ‘enter’ on the Roku remote to launch the app. The issue occurs when, on the Home Screen, I navigate to the Spotify app icon. Users said they tried reinstalling the app it does not fix the problem at hand. Others say that they are unable to load the app at all and that their devices are stuck at the Spotify logo screen for hours on end. Many say that Roku has suddenly linked their credentials with Spotify and they are now asked to select an account whenever they open the app.īut the app refuses to load even when the associated account is selected.
